About
Hello, my name is Dr. Lenni Folden! I was born in Kamloops, BC and raised in Prince Albert, SK and Kelowna, BC. After over ten years working in customer service, I attended the University of British Columbia in Kelowna and completed my undergraduate degree in Biology. I then moved to Calgary and worked in administration with Alberta Health Services for two years before I moved to Edmonton and attended the Medical School at the University of Alberta. I did my family medicine residency training here in Calgary.
I live in the Southeast part of Calgary with my partner and our young son. We love to be outdoors, hiking, bike riding, spending time with our friends and family and most recently started camping as well as. We enjoy travelling and experiencing different ways of life and look forward to our next adventure.
I love working as a Family Physician as it gives me the opportunity to care for patients of all ages with varying medical conditions. I particularly enjoy all areas of women’s health (with experience in IUDs, Contraceptive Implants), managing chronic disease, monitoring children’s growth and development, early pregnancy care and preventative health screening. I believe that excellent medicine is based on evidence-based care and I work hard to provide the best care for my patients.
